"A violent fu•king poet."

- Josip Novakovich

For I am you, torn from our scars.

"Words used to be art. In their creation. In the act. And thus the words were art in their very being. Forget the reader. Just don't forget the impetus. Christian Fennell never did. One of the rare few."                                                                        - The Prague Revue

"Christian Fennell’s words are honest and sharp, coursing like blood in the veins. It urges you on, past familiar voices into a region of not knowing which hastens your fingers through the masterly crafted pages."

"Deliciously twisted and addictive. A brilliant author to discover."

"Nobody writes like Christian Fennell. It's really free form poetry and it's very dark but it's also very good. I think Flannery O'Connor would have liked it."

Goodread Reviews:

Christian Fennell is an editor and a writer of fiction and non-fiction whose work often explores the fragility of the human condition and the search for identity in an uncertain world. His writing is known for its lyrical qualities and its mix of realism with elements that border on the surreal.  He is currently the Editor-in-chief of The Nelligan Review, and was the Senior Editor at Montreal Publishing Company, as well as having been a columnist and fiction editor at The Prague Revue.

Christian grew up in Muskoka, Ontario, developing a love of reading, writing, and the outdoors. Today, he is pretty much nomadic, who just might do some more writing. Certainly, some good living, reading, and exploring. He dislikes humans that discriminate against others, and he asks of you, please don't do this.

"One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship, indignation, compassion."

~ Simone de Beauvoir
